Healing Hands

Healing Hands is a digital collage project that honours unseen care givers.  Through conversation, Gaylene captures the essence of each person through blending images of participants hands. meaningful objects, healing plants and sayings that help sustain the person. These artworks are made as part of the Black Mary Project, inspired by the healing well keepers of the past. The portraits will be exhibited at Light Up Kilburn and in a forthcoming touring healing well installation.
